Tokyo's Last Train: My Train Runs to the Underworld

[Mystery + Supernatural + Infinite Worlds + Urban Legends + Rule-Based Horror + Relentless Killing + Dark Tone] (Also known as The Hell Train Has No Way Back)

My name is Kamiya Naoto, and I'm an ordinary Tokyo salaryman. Every day, my life is ruled by a precise schedule. Then one day, I missed the last train because I was rushing to finish a project, only to unexpectedly board a nonexistent “Midnight Zero” train.

This train doesn't go to any known station.

Each stop corresponds to an urban legend currently unfolding in Tokyo: [Kisaragi Station], [Hachishaku-sama], [The Gap Woman]...

And I was chosen by this train, called “Yomi,” to be its new conductor.

I can't fight, and I have no superpowers. The only weapon I have is the rulebook in my hands, The Conductor's Handbook.

[Rule 1: Once the train arrives at a station, you must greet the “passengers,” meaning the urban legends themselves, with a smile.]

[Rule 2: You must never show fear in front of the “passengers.”]

[Rule 3: Before the train departs, you must successfully bring at least one “human” caught up in an urban legend aboard. Otherwise, you will be left at the station and become part of the urban legend.]

This is the story of an ordinary man in the guise of a salaryman, battling one terrifying urban legend after another in the dead of night in Tokyo as he struggles to survive. My goal is simple: stay alive until this train with no final destination reaches its end.
