Lu Yang transmigrates to a low-martial world with the Evil-Exorcising Sword Manual and the Nine-Yang Divine Skill, only to become a useless eyesore to his wife, Su Yanran. To help her senior brother Ji Boda become the alliance leader, she poisons Lu Yang and steals the sword manual.
They don't know that Lu Yang has already mastered the Nine-Yang Divine Skill and is immune to all poisons.
They know even less that, among the ten thousand copies of the sword manual he generously distributed, he tore out the one page that would prove fatal.
The bell rings at the Mount Ling Sword Debate. As Ji Boda basks in triumph and Su Yanran dreams of the future, the internal energy of the hundred thousand martial artists who practiced the incomplete manual runs wild. Mount Ling becomes a living hell...
As everyone looks on in despair, Lu Yang slowly takes out a second manual. It's time to change the rules of this martial world.
