After a sudden coup, the order of the old world collapsed, and melee spread to every corner. Ke Chi unfortunately got involved in the turmoil and was forced to co-operate with various characters to survive - ordinary people who were in despair but always used humor to save themselves, exiled nobles with revenge, and street vendors who struggled with self-deprecation. In this troubled world, they shuttle between hope and despair, and everyone has to face the choice of life and death in the world crisis. The various story lines are intertwined and advanced, with gatherings, separations, and twists of fate - the collision of order and freedom, the contest between ideals and reality, and finally the final chapter in the reconstruction of the world and understanding and belonging.
