Synopsis

This medical case is all based on the book "Huang Han Medicine" published by Shanghai Zhonghua Book Company in 1936. It includes 568 classic medical cases, 338 classic prescriptions, and 3 experimental medical cases that we have personally experienced. This medical case is based on "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" and "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber" compiled by the medical sage Zhang Zhongjing, and uses the syndrome differentiation of the Six Meridians as a guide. It summarizes the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, tumors, diabetes, hypertension, stroke, typhoid fever, colds, etc. Clinical experience in the fields of crooked eyes and mouth, hemiplegia, rheumatism, gout, epilepsy, traumatic neurosis, blood stasis, skin diseases, obstetrics and gynecology diseases, pediatric diseases, venereal diseases, and difficult and complicated diseases, undoubtedly constitutes a valuable legacy such as the application of traditional Chinese medicine in clinical practice. This medical case has had a profound influence on many famous modern Chinese medicine practitioners. For example, Professors Hu Xishu, Professor Liu Duzhou and Professor Hao Wanshan of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Professor Huang Huang, Dean of Nanjing International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the Chinese American teacher Ni Haixia, who is known as a genius of traditional Chinese medicine, and the famous Japanese Kampo master Mr. Keikitsu Otsuka, etc. Especially teacher Ni Haixia, whose lectures on Treatise on Febrile Diseases, Synopsis of the Golden Chamber, and Shennong's Materia Medica quoted a large number of works from Imperial Han Medicine. During the editing process of this medical record, we strive to preserve the original appearance of the original work and its Chinese translation to the greatest extent possible. Therefore, in addition to translating the traditional Chinese text in the original text into easy-to-understand simplified vernacular, this medical record only provides concise annotations on some difficult issues and precautions.
