The play is a major cultural quality project in Shaanxi Province in 2022. It is partly based on Lu Yao's novella "Life". It tells the story of Gao Jialin, a young man living in Gaojia Village in northern Shaanxi, who worked hard to change his destiny. After experiencing changes in the world and successive tests of fate, he wrote the story of ordinary people's extraordinary lives in the tide of the times.
