In the early years of the Republic of China, in Xijian Village on the Loess Plateau in northwest Shanxi, Wang Jingyi, the eldest daughter of the Wang family, was born. She was born with a pair of "blessed ears" that everyone praised, but she didn't know that this "blessing" would be like a thread, pulling her involuntarily through the stormy waves of the times.
From her ignorant childhood in a deep house and compound, from her family being broken up and her flesh and blood separated, to being forced to marry in a cold kiln where two bags of grain were sold as child brides... Feng'er's fate has gone through many ups and downs in the great waves of history. She was once a landowner's daughter, struggling to survive in the cold and hungry, and experiencing betrayal and despair in the boundless darkness.
Even in the harshest wind and snow, the glimmer of humanity has never been extinguished. The silent protection of her stepfather Li Fuyang, the righteous man Sun Weimin's righteous speech, and even the goodwill of each other in difficult times became the light for her to move forward in the dark night. Especially the acquaintance with Yun Deng, a Mongolian cadre, allowed her to briefly touch the outline of happiness in the miserable wind and rain. Her desire for knowledge and her responsibility to her children supported her to stand up from the quagmire of fate again and again. After retiring, she devoted all her time to the training of her grandchildren. However, as time passed and time entered the 21st century, she finally felt that it was time for her generation to withdraw from the stage of history.

When my grandma celebrated her 90th birthday, my aunt summarized her deeds into a thin book. This was the source of my inspiration. In fact, there is such a story around each of us, ordinary and legendary, but reading it makes people enjoy it and has endless aftertaste.
