"Gardenia and Strawberry Flavor" is a youth story created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of the alma mater. It is not only a sweet love song about the iceberg academic master and the dessert girl, but also a tender love letter to our common youthful years, and a youthful souvenir to our alma mater.
Forty years of ups and downs, forty years of fragrant peaches and plums. On this occasion of celebration, this story is like a time train, carrying us back to the campus where gardenias bloom. Between the lines, Lin Zhi, who strives for his dreams, and Jiang Chen, who is cold on the outside and hot on the inside, may have the shadow of you and me in those days; the fragrance of gardenia that lingers with the fragrance of books, and the sweetness of strawberry that throbs the heartstrings are all the marks of our youth that we exclusively treasure.
I would like to use this work to pay tribute to our eternal alma mater, and also to every classmate and alumni who have left their footprints here - may we be away for half our lives, but still have pure enthusiasm in our hearts; may we scattered like stars, still shine in our respective worlds.
