The story of Guashan Village is a history of the Pan family's migration, struggle, and survival. From the founding of the village in the late Tang Dynasty, to the war of resistance and national salvation, to the reform and opening up, the Pan family members have always been rooted here and guarded this land. As the couplet in the old ancestral hall writes: The roots are in Guashan, and they will never move for thousands of years; the veins go to all directions, and they will never stop.
