The Mirror Code

A private detective at the lowest point in his life wakes from a nightmare that has haunted him for three years, clutching a photograph of an unfamiliar woman in his hand. Later, at a murder scene, he finds shards of glass identical to those in his dream, but the police insist there was no glass at the scene. Witnesses connected to the case begin dying within 48 hours, each death unfolding just as it did in his dreams. The line between reality and illusion collapses. He struggles to uncover the truth through his tangled memories, while mysterious supernatural forces do everything they can to stop him. At first, his lack of control over supernatural powers leaves him repeatedly defeated in his clashes with ghosts and monsters. Misunderstood by those around him, he can barely make progress with his investigation. But with the abilities granted by the System, he gradually grows stronger. As his investigation deepens, he discovers that he is hiding crucial information connected to the supernatural incidents, and that revealing it will make him a target for supernatural forces. In this desperate situation, he must solve the mystery before all the witnesses die. Yet even if he succeeds, the price may be devastating.
