Empresses in the Palace: Turning the Tables at the Moment of Elimination

You think the ending of Empresses in the Palace was set in stone long ago? Consort Hua dies tragically, Mei Zhuang dies with regrets, and Zhen Huan rises to the top?

Wrong!

When a witch with a [Passive Evolution] cheat transmigrates into the bodies of characters who were supposed to be cannon fodder, the skies over the Forbidden City are about to change!

Yu Ying'er, who was strangled; Fu Zi, who was drowned; Xia Dongchun, who suffered the punishment known as "Crimson One Zhang"...

Every injury marks the beginning of a surge in her magical power.

When she takes the place of the original character, she'll only be fiercer and stronger than before.

What she wants isn't the emperor's favor, but the power to control everyone, the pinnacle of soul force that will make them all grovel at her feet!

Think she'll endure things step by step like Zhen Huan? No! She's good at keeping up appearances, but she never waits for the "right moment."

She bows respectfully to the empress in public, then turns around and hands Consort Hua a "fatal weakness"; she pretends to call Zhen Huan her sister, while secretly laying plans to cut off every escape route.

Those who once climbed to power by stepping on cannon fodder are now pieces on her chessboard; those foreordained tragedies have become stepping-stones to her advancement.

When a witch's ruthlessness meets the schemes of the inner palace, and a heaven-defying gift collides with a predetermined plot, the demonic maiden will rewrite more than one character's fate: she will ascend to the very summit of the Forbidden City.
