"Wages, Prices and Profits" were two speeches delivered in English by Karl Marx at the General Council meetings of the International Working Men's Association on June 20 and 27, 1865. They were intended to respond to theoretical disputes about the rationality of strikes in the labor movement. The speech was first published by his daughter Elena in 1898 under the title "Value, Price and Profit", and the German version was later changed to its current title.
