I, the Deputy Leader of the Jie Sect, Control Karma and Calamities

The innate god Lin Yuchuan had slept for who knew how many years. He was woken by Hongjun's lecture on the Dao, then hurried to the Purple Cloud Palace with the Dao of Karma in hand.

On the way, he hit it off with Tongtian while chatting about “teaching without discrimination.” He had meant to cultivate in solitude, but Tongtian invited him so many times that he eventually became the deputy sect master of the Jie Sect.

Everyone mocked him: “A True Immortal thinks he can be deputy sect master?” Then he shot straight up to the Great Perfection of the Quasi-Saint realm!

After taking office, he gave his disciples “make-up classes on tribulations,” but they mistook them for “daily debates where the loser forfeits control of the sect.”

To cure his disciples' “blind confidence about tribulations,” he got the whole sect to place bets.

Using karma, he pinpointed his disciples' weaknesses and set them against one another.

The Investiture of the Gods had only just appeared, and he already had his disciples scrambling to get listed!

Lin Yuchuan: “The Investiture of the Gods, is it? Then every disciple of mine is going to become an orthodox god!”
