As the trials grow more intense, Lin Mo discovers that every stage hides secrets, and that the “Fear Trials” may be tied to a century-old curse and conspiracy. He must not only fight the terrifying monsters outside, but also resist the fear eating away at him within, struggling on the edge between humanity and savagery. As the stages grow harder and the people around him die one by one, Lin Mo gradually realizes that true fear is not the monsters before his eyes, but the unfathomable depths of the human heart and the spread of despair.
