Moved into an Apartment and Became a Skinner

The foreshadowing is quite clever. The rusty key mentioned earlier, the notes in the mummy's hand, and the reminders in the mirror will all be echoed later. When the secret is revealed, you will have a feeling of sudden enlightenment, it will not feel abrupt, you can feel the author's intention, and the logic is relatively smooth.

I have read many chapters, and the description of the atmosphere is quite natural, without deliberately piling up horror elements to scare people. The dim corridors, hanging red lanterns, and occasional strange noises slowly bring out the sense of weirdness, and the sense of immersion is pretty good. It's not the kind of sudden horror, but a long-lasting sense of suspense that doesn't depress you while reading.

The rules-based suspense setting is quite to my liking. The residents' rules and the supplementary details of the word "scary" make it not feel suspended, but makes me want to explore. Follow the protagonist to find clues and analyze the rules bit by bit. The process is not strenuous and the reading is smooth. There is no sense of skipping the scene. It is one of the more comfortable suspense novels I have read recently.

The setting of Neighbors is very memorable. Characters such as the cheongsam female ghost and the bloodthirsty doctor are not just simple symbols of horror. You can feel that there are stories behind them. Every interaction with the neighbors is described with great tension. I am a little scared but I can't help but be curious about their secrets, and I always want to read more.

This is a very nice book. The setting is novel and there is nothing sinister about it. I can continue to read it.
