In the Name of the People: A Central Government Selectee Takes Qi Tongwei into the Ministry

In the world of In the Name of the People, the story begins with selection as a central government trainee and follows the protagonist step by step from Han Dong to the pinnacle of power.

The story is set more than a decade before the original plot begins. There is no System, no mindless wish fulfillment, political maneuvering, powerful backing, and officialdom culture.

Many people’s fates will change. Qi Tongwei will rise proudly to a position in the central government.

And I, too, will climb to the pinnacle of power!

P.S. The synopsis doesn’t do the story justice, so please head to the main text. I’m open to good suggestions that help move the plot forward, so feel free to offer your advice.
