An art student with masterful traditional mortise-and-tenon skills and a soul-stirring final-project drawing tumbles headfirst into an apocalypse overrun by zombies.
From the start, she's trapped in a desperate situation. She pulls out a lipstick in a seductive shade and writes a message for help: [I know how to deal with these monsters from the apocalypse! I need to meet the person in charge of the country!]
Li Shuang doesn't awaken a combat ability, but she unlocks an ultimate talent.
Her final-project blueprints become the city plan for the end times. Her mortise-and-tenon craftsmanship builds an impregnable defense. All the traditional culture in her head becomes world-saving high tech!
Gu Xun lifts her up when she collapses from exhaustion, his voice hoarse. “You forgot to account for the risks in your plan this time.”
Li Shuang leans against him and laughs softly. “Isn't that what the risk report is for? It's your job to take care of that.”
Surviving the apocalypse, building infrastructure and growing food, protecting civilization. This is our most romantic legend.
