At the height of loneliness and despair, a god met another version of herself in the mirror.
Furina, Fontaine's beloved Hydro Archon, had borne five hundred years of loneliness and pretense alone beneath her splendid mask. Just as her soul was about to shatter under the endless performance, a soul from another world quietly awoke at her most vulnerable moment.
She called herself Xinle, an ordinary soul who should have died on the night of her thesis defense. By some twist of fate, she became the god's deepest secret: a "second personality" dwelling in the mirror and sharing her soul's inner world.
From then on, the god's solo dance became a waltz for two.
"Look, even the way we cry is exactly the same."
"Because from now on, I'll wipe away your tears and share your loneliness."
When Judgment Day finally arrives, and the fate set in stone demands a sacrifice, will the two souls in one body join hands to rewrite their destiny, or will they perform a finale that surpasses the original script on their final stage?
When the figures on either side of the mirror finally come together, and divinity and humanity merge in the glimmer of their tears, they seek an answer more precious than the title of "god": the meaning of the self, of existence, and of what makes "me" who I am.
The writing is very good, but there is a small problem. It can reduce some gorgeous words and replace it with a more pragmatic and simple way of telling the story. Of course, this may be your style, so I won't comment too much.
Similar to a parallel world, it deviates from the plot of Genshin Impact and has almost no connection. The plots are almost all original by the author. If you want to read something related to the main plot or the original plot, you can skip it.
