The strongest Immortal Emperor in the Immortal Realm, Ling Xiao, is besieged by nine Immortal Venerables. As he faces death, he self-destructs his primordial spirit, only to transmigrate into the lower realm as Wangcai, a good-for-nothing spirit pet dog belonging to the eldest daughter of the Su family, a cultivation clan.

Wangcai yawns, then bats away the tournament’s favorite with one paw.
The entire venue falls silent.
