On a snowy night in Suzhou in 1938, the Japanese army raided and separated the twin sisters Wen Zhiwei and Wen Zhixia. On her deathbed, her mother asked Lao Wu, the owner of a grocery store in the concession, to be alone. Five years later, undercurrents are surging in the Shanghai Concession: Sister Wen Zhiwei lurks as a cold art consultant, and with her calm style, Matsumoto, the director of the Japanese special high school course, takes the initiative to steal information on the "Sakura Blockade Plan"; sister Wen Zhixia transforms into a bright actress, using her smart charm to win Matsumoto's trust, but she is often in danger because of her impatience.
