Help, There’s a Little Japanese Demon Living Inside Me

Lu Song's military training as a freshman was shattered by a sudden fainting spell. The spirit of Sato Ichiro, a Japanese soldier who invaded China, accidentally possessed him, turning him into an alien presence in his own body. Japanese words spilled from his mouth without warning, he found himself performing military drills uncontrollably in the dead of night, and the ruthless stranger in the mirror dragged him into a terrifying struggle he had to face alone.

To reclaim control of his body, he stays up late watching footage of the War of Resistance, seeks out folk Taoist priests, and asks a special agency for help. As he struggles against the lingering spirit, he also confronts the bloody memories of the Japanese military's crimes. When personal resolve, the strength of ordinary people, and the nation's support come together, this battle of resistance waged within a single body will finally reach its reckoning, where the righteous spirit of a martyrs' cemetery becomes the setting for a clash between justice and new life.
