Detective Conan: The Silent Watcher of Beika Town

After dying suddenly from overwork, Lin Zhou opened his eyes to find himself in the world of Detective Conan, as a transfer student at Teitan High School. With no golden finger or System to back him up, his only “weapons” were his memories of the story and his determination not to let tragedies happen again.

It began with a poisoning case at the Toto Chemical Research Institute. Thanks to his sharp eye for detail, he exposed the killer’s disguise ahead of time and saved the homeroom teacher who was supposed to die. With Ai Haibara living under the shadow of the Black Organization, he cleverly created “coincidences” to help her evade surveillance. When the good guys’ investigation into the Black Organization hit a dead end, he used “organizing old files” as an excuse to point out the crucial clue in the Haneda Koji case, leading straight to the truth about Renya Karasuma.

He never tried to be the “protagonist.” He only wanted to protect others from behind the scenes: warning Jodie to watch out for Vermouth’s disguises, telling Toru Amuro about the organization’s surveillance network, and pinpointing the hideout when Conan was kidnapped. His kindness was hidden in every “chance” moment: a casual warning in the hallway, a note tucked into a book, a subtle hint beside a coffee cup. But he never wanted to reveal his secret ability to “see the future.”

In the final battle that destroyed the Black Organization, he did everything he could to pry open the drain in an explosive cargo container, saving Conan and Haibara, but his body began to turn transparent because he was an “outsider.” Before dawn broke over Beika Town, he left behind a notebook filled with case details and plans to save people, then quietly disappeared.
