Synopsis of the story of "The Autumn Page Full of Frost"
Lu Shuangxu, a young ancient book restorer, received an anonymous package in a season of deep autumn, which contained a broken ancient book called "Autumn Pages Full of Frost". Strangely, the pages are mostly blank, as if covered by autumn frost.
When she started to repair the first page using her family's unique skills, something strange happened - ink stains appeared on the repaired page, clearly recording the secret history of a former general who was betrayed by his close friend on the day of frost and died in hatred. What shocked her even more was that according to historical records, the general died of illness.
Driven by curiosity, Lu Shuangxu worked day and night to repair it. Each page that is "lit" reveals a period of injustice, lies or a stolen life that has been covered up by the dust of time. She is like a silent judge, peering into the dark side of history. However, when she restored it to the penultimate page, the background of the story suddenly switched to modern times, describing the details of her whereabouts in the week before receiving the ancient book.
Great fear seized her. Lu Shuangxu realized that this "Ye Man Shuang Qiu" was not a record of the past, but a "book of destiny". The last page predicts the fate of the restorer himself. She stood in front of the repair table, holding the special potion needed to repair the last page, her fingertips were cold - should she reveal her destined fate, or let the truth remain silent forever under the frosty autumn? And in the corner of the title page of that ancient book, a line of small words slowly appeared: "Only after reading all the debts of others in life can you know that this page is your own sorrow."
