As I watched, the protagonist suddenly changed. The protagonist was obviously Bucky, but Bucky's role became less and less. Shanks was probably the author's protagonist.
Later, the protagonist feels that his combat power is a bit inconsistent with that of Kaido in the early stage. He can even tie with Kaido, but he was beaten so badly by Magellan.
