At forty, Hong Zhenyu was an utterly ordinary specimen of city life. His beer belly bulged like he had a basketball stuffed under his shirt, he’d been stuck in middle management for years, and after turning thirty-five, he spent three hours rehearsing in his head before daring to ask his boss for anything. Every month, his paycheck barely hit his account before his mortgage, car payments, and living expenses ate it down to a few scraps. He thought he would spend the rest of his life going through the cycle of tallying bills and enduring overtime, until he became a greasy middle-aged man.
Then, one morning on his way to work, he encountered a beautiful woman. By chance, he acquired a space battleship that had been adrift for years, along with its supercomputer, Audis, and the loyalty and assistance of its 3,000 silicon-based lifeforms.
The once-cautious middle-aged man now held the keys to the stars. With Audis’s lively technical support, he refitted the battleship and used alien technology to ease Blue Star’s resource crisis, only to discover that extraterrestrial powers had infiltrated the planet. As the silicon-based warriors battled their enemies in humanoid forms and used their mechanical might to protect Blue Star’s skies, and the battleship’s main cannon tore through the gloom of space, Hong Zhenyu was no longer an ordinary man crushed by life. He led Blue Star’s forces into battle across the cosmos, going from defending his home to forging an interstellar alliance. In the end, he turned his ordinary life into a legendary conquest that lit up the stars.
Not bad, watch it slowly to pass the time😊
It feels like an ordinary little character suddenly wins the cosmic jackpot. It's warm and refreshing. The chapters are connected naturally and attractively. It's very readable and worth recommending.
