I, the Qilin Cub, Was Handed Over to the Primordial Heaven Venerable

I woke up as a Qilin Clan hatchling in the Primordial Era, facing the clan’s extinction in the Dragon-Han Calamity.

I immediately grabbed the leg of Yuanshi Tianzun as he passed by. “Revered One, our Qilin Clan hereby applies to become the divine guardian beasts of the Chan Sect!”

Yuanshi lowered his eyes and glanced at me. “A little qilin like you thinks it’s worthy of joining my sect?”

But when I pulled out the script for Investiture of the Gods, his expression changed dramatically.

Later, when the Dragon and Phoenix clans came demanding that I be handed over, Yuanshi raised the Pangu Banner:

“This is an auspicious omen certified by the Heavenly Dao. How dare you lay a hand on it?”
