In a future city where memories can be edited and deleted, the top memory editor Ling Mo is known for his calmness and precision. He regards memories as codes and emotions as redundant. During a routine operation to remove trauma for a top client, he accidentally discovered a "ghost memory" that belonged to no one: a lonely lighthouse and a desperate look. This ghostly fragment invades his world like a virus, forcing him to break all the rules he has made. In order to find out the truth, Ling Mo teamed up with a down-and-out old detective who distrusted technology to uncover the shocking conspiracy hidden behind his memory step by step. He soon discovered that he was not only a pursuer, but also a prey, and the most dangerous prison was memory itself.
