Lu Xiaoyi accidentally inherited the underworld grocery store left by his father, and got involved in the life on the underworld where humans and ghosts coexist. When he first arrived, he and his colleagues in the grocery store, the residents of the underworld, and the mysterious visitors staged scenes of ridiculous but tender stories. Multiple story lines of adventure and growth are intertwined and advanced. The protagonists and supporting characters move towards understanding, forgiveness and reconciliation amid the choices of good and evil, entanglements of grudges, unresolved old wishes and new hopes.
