When God answers your prayer, never regret it.
Desperate to save his terminally ill younger sister, Lin Shu joined the mysterious “Divine Miracle Project.”
The scientists claimed they could communicate with ancient beings and grant any wish. Before a twisted altar, Lin Shu offered his most devout prayer: “Please cure my sister.”
The divine oracle came as promised: “Wish received. Fulfilling it now.”
Overjoyed, Lin Shu rushed home, only to find that what awaited him was not his recovered sister, but a flawless, forever-healthy jade carving.
Only then did he understand: “God” had indeed granted his wish, just in a way no human could bear. And this was only the beginning.
The dark truth behind the “Divine Miracle Project” yawned open before him like an abyss: every wish that had been granted ultimately became one of the bizarre “artifacts” housed in the containment facility. Yet the jade carving that had once been his sister gave off the faint pulse of a heartbeat in the dead of night...
Was this total destruction, or another form of “survival”? Lin Shu had no choice. He had to pray once more to that indescribable being.
But this time, his wish would be: “Please give my sister back to me.”
Even if it meant becoming the next “monster” in containment.
