Crossing Over

Tomato, how many words do I have to write before you recommend my book?! Even the little ads posted by the roadside get more views than mine. I don't even expect you to recommend me anymore. Just don't bury my book... I really cried while writing this chapter. The story was rough around the edges to begin with, and it didn't have much of a carefully built world. But by this chapter, I could truly feel what every character was feeling: those powerless to act, those who kept their feelings bottled up, and those who wanted to save others but faced one obstacle after another. Nothing weighs on life more heavily than this. When the good values we were taught at the start of life are overturned one by one by reality, it is a blow that cuts to the bone. The so-called helplessness of life is simply compromise forced upon us. We are all both the ones who compromise and the ones being compromised with.
