Three-year-old Tangbao's origins are unknown. A wicked monk frames her, and the villagers take her to feed a flood dragon. But Nezha happens to pass by and scoops her up. He discovers that the little bundle in his arms was formed from the same spirit pearl as he was. They share the same source! From then on, the cold-faced god of slaughter embarks on the exhausting road of raising a toddler. But Nezha soon realizes that he's not the only one who gets to look after this child! Sun Wukong sweeps her with his fiery eyes, leaps up, and cries, “She's my dear little junior sister!” Erlang Shen arrives, his Heavenly Eye open. After a long silence, he manages to say, “In her previous life, she called me Daddy...” The Supreme Lord Lao pulls out Nine-Turn Golden Elixirs like candy, Taiyi Zhenren brings out magical treasures and begs her to pick one, and even the Jade Emperor and Wutian line up to bring her glittering gifts. Tangbao rubs her sleepy eyes and looks at the primordial great powers who nearly came to blows over her. She softly holds out her little arms: “Big brothers... hugs?” Nezha, Wukong, and Yang Jian, instantly calling a truce but eyeing one another warily: “She's our baby!”
