Time travel, strong heroine
Lin Wan, a third-year student at Modern Medical University, travels back to Chang'an during the Tianbao period with a medical book from the Tang Dynasty due to a laboratory accident, and becomes an orphan in the plague.
• Heroine: Lin Wei, a junior majoring in clinical medicine at a modern tertiary hospital. She is good at first aid, basic surgery and infectious disease prevention and treatment. She has a tough personality, strong adaptability, and a benevolent heart as a doctor. At first, she was unfamiliar with the Tang Dynasty and was frightened. Later, she gradually integrated into and established herself in medical skills.
• Male protagonist: Xiao Jingyuan, who joined the army in Jingzhao Prefecture in the Tang Dynasty (and later became a judge in Dali Temple). He was born in a wealthy family but did not like the struggle between powerful people. He was thoughtful, upright and steady. He was initially suspicious of Lin Wei's "weird medical skills", but was later attracted by his ability and character.
