Shen Hanxing was once the cherished daughter of a prestigious family, but her clan was falsely accused and wiped out. Her childhood sweetheart and senior fellow disciple betrayed her, leaving her devastated in body and mind. Under an assumed name, she infiltrated the Northern Garrison General’s residence as a maid, where she unexpectedly met Lu Jingming, the general’s legitimate son. At first, they distrusted one another and tested each other’s intentions, but after facing life-or-death crises together, they gradually fell in love. Yet behind the shocking conspiracies gripping both the martial world and the imperial court, the villains kept obstructing Shen Hanxing’s efforts to uncover the truth and conceal their crimes. The emotional scars left by her senior fellow disciple’s betrayal made it hard for her to fully accept Lu Jingming, while their opposing sides brought countless complications to their relationship. As the clues to the truth were gradually destroyed, time ran short, and her senior fellow disciple’s betrayal and manipulation drove their relationship beyond repair. In the end, Lu Jingming joined Shen Hanxing on her path to vengeance. Together, they broke through the conspiracy, cleared her family’s name, and found love.
