Twelve Years of the Ming Dynasty

He is the ninth prince, lost among the common people, carrying the imperial seal yet having no memories. He is a loyal, solitary Imperial Guard, living in darkness but with his heart turned toward the light. A palace coup entwines their fates. Over twelve years, they struggle through the quagmire of political intrigue and grow amid the flames of war on the frontier. From fighting over the jade seal that symbolizes the Mandate of Heaven to sealing it away with their own hands, they bring an old era to an end and usher in a new age of political reform that belongs to them.
