Synopsis

The day Lin Wan was four months pregnant, her mother said through tearful eyes, “Get rid of it. Let's pretend none of this ever happened.”

Her uncle went even further, shoving her into the back of a car and saying that an underground clinic would take care of it quickly and cleanly, and no one would find out.

Halfway there, she pounded on the window and screamed. Her best friend A Qiao happened to be passing by. She rushed over, yanked the car door open, and pointed at my uncle, shouting, “That baby is her whole life, not your reputation!”

For the next two months, they hid in Lin Wan's tiny rented apartment. A Qiao saved every penny to buy meat for Lin Wan, smiling as she said, “When the baby's born, I'll be the godmother. You don't need to get married to have a family.”

But on the night of the sixth month, the moon suddenly turned red.

People in the streets started going mad and biting each other. The news went dead. The two of them were trapped inside. The water stopped, the power went out, and when they had eaten the last of their rice, A Qiao said, “You're carrying twins. You can't go hungry.”

The next day, she went out to look for food. She didn't come back until late that night.

Lin Wan heard no knock, only a thud outside the door

Through the peephole, she saw A Qiao standing there, her face ashen and blood on her neck, holding three bags of crushed bread.

A Qiao said nothing and didn't push the door open. She stood quietly for a few seconds, then turned and walked step by step into the pitch-black hallway. She never looked back.

Lin Wan knew A Qiao had been bitten.

Afraid of infecting Lin Wan, she couldn't even bring herself to look at her one last time.

Lin Wan collapsed on the floor and sobbed until she was convulsing. Then her stomach suddenly cramped with pain...

There was no doctor, no water, no medicine. She struggled in a pool of blood for a day and a night, but neither baby survived. All three of them died.

But at the very moment her heart stopped, a voice suddenly sounded in her ear:

“Maternal instincts undiminished. System activated.”

Apocalypse Stories! Strong Female Lead! Not a Single Flaw! Not One!

Looking for books similar to "Reborn to Stockpile Supplies: It’s the Apocalypse, Who’s Going to Spoil You?" I don’t care whether there’s a CP or not, but if the protagonist is all about herself and there’s no CP, then don’t have people flirting back and forth. Seriously, I’m so done with that.

Apocalypse Survival Stories Focused on Building Up a Base and Upgrading a Wooden Cabin

Looking for books like "Surviving the Mist: I Can See the Hints". I want stories focused on development and building, with monsters attacking the house and natural disasters. Something about building up and upgrading a wooden cabin, preferably with no female lead. The protagonist should develop steadily.
