The Many Ways to Write the Character Hui

Wei Jinian, a university professor who studies meander patterns, rummages through the heirloom pottery jar left by his grandfather after a brief moment of dejection. The patterns on the jar are strange and intricate.

From then on, he can often cross time and space in his dreams, traveling to the past, visiting the future, or shifting to another place… But unlike other people’s Systems, this pottery jar is utterly unreliable…

This is a story of family, love, human connection, and human nature, things that never change through the ages.
