[Historical What-If] + [Foodie Fiction] + [Farming] + [Lighthearted] + [Wish Fulfillment]
Zhang Liang transmigrates and becomes a cook in Cao Cao’s army.
He thinks he’ll spend his whole life tending the fire and cooking, but then he awakens the “God of Cooking System.”
[Ding! Making “Dongpo Pork” increases all soldiers’ stamina by 50%!]
[Ding! Simmering “Buddha Jumps Over the Wall” increases all generals’ insight by 20 and raises their chances of breaking through a bottleneck!]
[Ding! Cooking “Mapo Tofu” increases soldiers’ morale by 100 and puts them into a “Frenzy” state!]
And so the whole mood of Cao Cao’s army begins to change.
Before battle, other armies sharpen their blades and polish their weapons. Cao Cao’s soldiers line up to collect their “combat lunch boxes.”
Xiahou Dun: “My lord! Give me another bowl of ‘Heartbreak Rice’! I feel like I can charge one more time!”
Xu Chu: “Master Zhang! Where’s my ‘Dragon Beard Noodles’? Without them, I can’t even lift my hammer!”
At the Battle of Guandu, Cao Cao’s army runs out of food, and panic spreads through the ranks.
Zhang Liang silently pulls out a gigantic hot pot.
That night, Cao Cao’s soldiers eat hot pot and sing. The next day, they rout Yuan Shao’s army.
Cao Cao looks on in deep thought as Zhang Liang is surrounded by top assassins sent by warlords from all over, all trying to steal his recipes.
“Is this man a cook, or the soul of the army?”
