300 Days Left: I'll Live Wild Before I Die

The day I was diagnosed with brain cancer, I tore up the divorce papers.

My husband called me a meek, conventional bore. I dyed my hair the boldest red and headed to a bar in an upscale villa district.

I had one clear goal: find the wildest man and have a romance with no thought for tomorrow.

I set my sights on Lu Ye, the laid-back, free-spirited owner, and handed him my diagnosis. “Three hundred days. Are you in?”

He stubbed out his cigarette, a dangerous glint in his eyes. “Deal.”

When my ex-husband cornered me and called me a cheater, I wrapped my arms around Lu Ye’s neck and kissed him passionately in front of everyone.

He took me rock climbing and skydiving, helping me feel alive at the edge of my limits.

Then one day, he pinned me against the wall and said in a hoarse voice:

“Lin Wan, can you add me to your bucket list?”

This time, I’m going to live for myself, even if it’s only at the end of my life.
