Date A Live: You'd Better Keep This Protagonist and Not Hand Them Over to Me

For the beautiful and powerful spirits, the original protagonist, Itsuka Shido, hopes to win them over and seal their powers through dating and romance, so they can all live together in peace.

The AST, a professional combat unit formed by the government, takes a completely different approach: suppress and eliminate, dealing with any spirits capable of posing a threat.

However,

Lorraine is an outsider in this world.

He wants the spirits' powers too, but not by sealing them. He wants to take them!

And his methods are nothing like Itsuka Shido's gentle, kindhearted dates. Instead, he prefers to rely on overwhelming force.

In an age of great contention, the strong prey on the weak.

It has always been this way!

Whatever Lorraine wants, he will get!

He doesn't even care whether those spirits live or die.

He only wants power.

But it seems things never go quite as he expects.

Right now, Lorraine could never imagine that one day, when he truly falls on hard times,

he'll look back and see that the spirits he once pointed his sword at and robbed of their powers have, without him even realizing it, become his most reliable companions.

One unintentional act after another,

instead of scattering them, only brings more and more spirits to Lorraine's side, making the force he represents ever stronger and more fearsome.

He becomes a presence that all of Tengu City, and even every other faction, has reason to fear.

And what he doesn't know is this:

One day,

the spirits gathered around him will help him reach the highest peak and take the throne from which he can look down upon all living beings.
