Unmasking the Shadows of Espionage

In 1942, after the outbreak of the Pacific War, the Japanese military launches an infiltration operation codenamed “Kaleidoscope” to destroy the Chinese Communist Party's covert intelligence network in Central China. The Japanese military police and Wang's puppet regime's No. 76 intelligence agency join forces to plant a high-ranking mole, codenamed “Oriole,” inside the underground Communist organization. The very existence of “Oriole” hangs over the organization like a sword, threatening its survival at every moment. “Fisherman,” the intelligence chief of the East China Bureau's Social Affairs Department, is entrusted with an urgent mission: to activate the emergency plan “Bedrock” and identify the infiltrator “Oriole” as quickly as possible.
