The Dad’s Rules: Cute Is Justice!

In an apparently ordinary modern city, there is a hidden world of “conceptual armaments.” Abstract concepts found in all things, such as “sharpness,” “durability,” “swiftness,” and even “despair,” can crystallize under certain conditions into “concept cores” imbued with extraordinary power. A group of gifted individuals known as “concept hunters” make their living tracking down, seizing, and wielding these cores.

The protagonist, Lin Ke, was once a legendary top-tier “concept hunter,” codenamed “Yama,” renowned for his ruthless nature and merciless methods. But during a mission, his companions betrayed him and stripped him of his core, leaving him crippled. He went into hiding in the city’s darkest corners, barely clinging to life.

One day, a three- or four-year-old girl, as adorable as a porcelain doll, stumbled into his life like a lost kitten. Her name was Nuonuo. She couldn’t speak, only gazed at you with clear, wide eyes, clutching an utterly ordinary lollipop in her hand. Lin Ke was about to send her away when he discovered that the organization hunting her was the very one that had betrayed him! At the last moment, with death at the door, Lin Ke shielded Nuonuo out of a flicker of compassion he thought he’d long forgotten. That act unexpectedly activated an unheard-of System in his mind: the [Cuteness Is Justice System].

The System has just one function: to quantify Nuonuo’s cuteness as “Cuteness Points.”
