The story is divided into three volumes, from the enlightened and prosperous days of Yan to corruption and reform, and then to the change of power. Lin Qishu entered the temple from a son of the market and was involved in the whirlpool of power; Huo Sanniang, Cao Hanzi and other small figures survived and struggled in the social turmoil, influencing each other. Each volume focuses on the changes of an era and uses multi-line stories to describe the various aspects of the Yan Kingdom. Official calculations and market wisdom are intertwined, and absurdity and warmth coexist.
