The fictional ancient country "Dayan" spans three generations of contingency and social changes. In the first volume, Xiao Huaiyu, a young man from a poor family, is coerced by power and enters the temple. The characters grow and fail, different classes influence each other, and finally reveal the opportunity for the rejuvenation of human nature and society in the absurdity and warmth. The whole book is full of satire and ridicule, and goes hand in hand with multiple threads, intertwining a humorous, profound and warm picture of all living beings in a great country.
