The story begins on the university campus and depicts the tit-for-tat confrontation between Chen hope and Mu Fan when they first met, to seeing the qualities they longed for in each other, resulting in a fatal attraction. They test, torture, and redeem each other. In the extreme emotional pull, they gradually peel off their disguises, face their inner trauma, and finally find a way to reconcile with each other and themselves.
