In 1937, Lin Yuanshan, a hunter from the Taihang Mountains, joins the Eighth Route Army, driven by the loss of his family and the suffering of his country. Gifted with the ability to “hear the wind and pinpoint a target,” he transforms from a solitary hunter into the legendary sniper “Whisper of the Wind,” a name that strikes fear into the enemy. Amid the brutality of war, he and his beloved Bai Lu face life and death together, while he enters a fateful showdown with Kitamura, Japan’s top sniper.
