Lin Jiayue, unlucky and miserable in the apocalypse, is betrayed by her teammate Lin Jingzhuo, who has gone over to the Japanese, and loses her life.
When she wakes, she has transmigrated into the body of Su Yuyan in the Li Kingdom.
Su Yuyan is the legitimate daughter of the General of Zhenguo's household, meek and easy to bully.
Her mother died when she was young, and her father has spent years guarding the frontier, leaving her alone in the residence.
Her father's concubine runs the household, and has bought off everyone in it.
The concubine's two children, Su Yuyan's half-sister and half-brother, take daily pleasure in tormenting her. In the end, she is beaten to death.
Now that she has transmigrated, Lin Jiayue, living under Su Yuyan's identity, is determined to avenge her and make anyone who bullied or humiliated her pay, no matter how far away they are.
