The earth turned into a wasteland due to an inexplicable "ultimate event". The vast majority of human beings perished, and a few "lucky and unlucky ones" survived - but they were not saviors, and they could not even save themselves. The protagonist Durmu and five partners with different personalities cross the ruins in a desolate and desperate world to find what they need for survival, their hearts and the value of each other. They cooperate, conflict, quarrel, laugh, and constantly encounter absurd dilemmas - the pranks of mutant creatures, the absurd rules of the wasteland's "Utopia City", and the repeated pulling of the last bottom line of human nature. Multiple clues intertwined, and the characters' fates fluctuated with each other. In the end, in the wasteland of "unsolvable" life, they each awakened to their own meanings and laughed towards the absurd ending. The whole book is connected with fast pace, multiple perspectives, sudden laughter and compact climax, striving for ups and downs as well as warmth and healing.
