“I swear, I’m telling the truth.” Xi Wang quietly lowered one finger.
“I hate liars most of all. They make me want to sew their mouths shut,” Xu Shengyan said softly.
“I’d never lie to you, don’t worry.” After saying that, Xi Wang quietly lowered another finger.
Xu Shengyan looked at him, speechless, as he swore with only his middle finger left raised. Shaking his head with helpless affection, he smiled. “It’s fine. We can sew it shut, then cut it open again!”
