Nan Siyan vs. Lu Jiumu: the possessive city lord versus the scheming old ancestor.

After Lu Jiumu sacrificed himself for Nan Siyan, Nan Siyan became ruthless and obsessive. Lu Jiumu, convinced Nan Siyan had no feelings for him, was possessed by the demonic Old Ancestor Lao Mu.
A thousand years later, they reunited. Under the control of the Nine-Mu Ancestor, Lu Jiumu was determined to drain Nan Siyan dry for revenge. Nan Siyan, now lord of Tian Si City, was determined to restore Lu Jiumu's spiritual fang and repair the Celestial Pearl Fan so they could wield it together. One willingly fell into Lu Jiumu's trap, while the other kept setting traps for Nan Siyan. But Lu Jiumu had been corrupted, and the Celestial Pearl Fan remained incomplete, as did their bond. Their old love rekindled amid the traps, and they fought back in a desperate final battle. Both fell, consumed by fire along with the fan.
