The End, the Void
"Is this the end of the universe?"
Everything is meaningless. All things return to the void.
The all-knowing intelligence has fallen silent under the erosion of the dark tide.
The Amber Lord's divine body has shattered, and its colossal form has been made into the final fortress, sheltering the beings still fighting with all their might. Harmony has united the will of all living beings, but if even one person falls into the void, ten thousand hearts will sink into soundless death. The Hunt's archers still draw their bows, and arrows shot from the past illuminate the darkness swallowing the universe, proclaiming to the void that wisdom has meaning. But even the hunters grow weary. When every enemy has fallen, the hunter kills himself. A blinding white light flashes: the radiance of the Fettersmith. But in this darkness, where even time and space are meaningless, the light vanishes in an instant. The wounded god of Destruction sinks into darkness, and everything in the universe is about to fall into the void. Destruction is meaningless.
"There must be another way."
A mask appears in Ling Bai's hand. Endless laughter makes the corners of his mouth curl upward despite himself. Space condenses into crystals, reflecting everything the universe has ever experienced: memories and joy.
Ling Bai murmurs, "Come, let us write a different kind of ending for this universe."
