Chronicles of Traveling from Ancient Times to the Present

The golden rule of grave robbing, passed down for a thousand years, says, “When the rooster crows and the lantern goes out, don’t rob a tomb.” In Gu Tongjin’s hands, it faces its most perilous test.

A grave-robbing heir versed in the occult arts of yin and yang, he carries his ancestral compass and tomb-raiding talisman into a forgotten ancient realm, seeking to break the curse that has burdened his family for generations.

The ruins of an ancient city deep in the desert conceal deadly secrets. Beneath the Kunlun glaciers, a nine-story demon tower looms with an eerie menace. Murals in the tomb passages whisper forbidden legends, while corpse-scented konjac and thousand-year-old parasitic puppets lay lethal traps.

Every step brings him to the brink of death. The candle in the southeastern corner flickers, casting light on the tomb owner’s slumbering rage and the lure of endless treasure.

Drawing on his vast knowledge of ancient cultures and the secrets of feng shui, Gu Tongjin searches for a way to survive amid deadly mechanisms and supernatural phenomena.

When the mysterious mark of the Ghost Cave appears and the prophet’s predictions come true one by one, can he break the chains of fate and uncover the truth of the secret realm before the light goes out? An adventure interwoven with historical mysteries and trials of life and death is about to begin.
